Job Description:


We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Financial Data Analyst to join our team. As a Financial Data Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to collect, analyze, and interpret financial data to support informed decision-making within the organization. You will work with large datasets, financial reports, and various data sources to provide insights and recommendations to our finance and management teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Collection: Gather financial data from multiple sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and external data providers.

Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data, identifying trends, anomalies, and key performance indicators. Use statistical and data analysis tools to derive meaningful insights.

Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models to forecast and project financial performance, including budgeting, cost analysis, and revenue forecasting.

Reporting: Create clear and concise reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate financial insights to stakeholders. Present findings to management and provide recommendations for strategic decision-making.

Data Integrity: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data by performing data validation and cleansing processes.

Trend Analysis: Monitor financial market trends, economic indicators, and industry benchmarks to provide timely insights and recommendations.

Compliance: Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and financial reporting standards to ensure data compliance and accuracy.

Continuous Improvement: Identify process improvements and automation opportunities to streamline data collection and reporting procedures.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.


Proven experience as a data analyst or financial analyst


Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).


Strong understanding of financial concepts, accounting principles, and financial modeling.


Excellent communication and presentation skills.


Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.


Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.


Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance is a plus.
